Teyah fell in love with music at a young age through musical theatre camps and live music when growing up in Vancouver and Coquitlam where she was inspired to perform and peruse music professionally. She started writing lyrics in high school to express her deepest feelings as a means of healing her mental health and out of pure love for music.

She blends Indie, Rock, Pop, Blues with a bit of soul and experimentation. She has been studying music production and recording for the past year and recently was a finalist at Dare to shine singing competition.
