Bad Horse is a Big Records Recording Artist and American Country Rockin’ Blues Band. The band formed in Boise in 2001. Already heard worldwide, they are the preeminent Original Band out of Idaho, and closing in on the World. Their Single “57 Chevy” is burning up the global charts. Followed by their Singles “Still America,” “Guns, Drugs, Women, Cars & Whiskey” and “Locked n’ Loaded Lonely” that are also quickly redefining the genre.

Bad Horse is pioneering a gritty, rhythmically driven Rock, blended with a Country – Blues sound that is one of a kind in the world of music today. The Bad Horse line-up consists of Lead Vocalist & Rhythm Guitarist Michael Rose, Lead Guitarist Mark Hume, Bassist Bob Umphress, and Drummer Flip Perkins. This, all original, Project is led by the songwriting of Michael F Rose and Mark Hume.

Rooted in Country, Rock and Blues, Bad Horse started out playing their originals in 2021, with a few covers, at their early small venue shows. The response to their original music has since been colossal.

The Band quickly found themselves headlining major shows throughout Idaho. Bad Horse is at the forefront of the “Idaho Invasion”.
