West New Britain, Papua New Guinea – Ancient Dusk, the critically acclaimed band from Papua New Guinea, is proud to announce the release of their new album “World Music” and single “Ancient Lullaby” on Monday, June 30, 2025. This highly anticipated release is distributed on all platforms through the Big Records / UDMG label and is proudly distributed through Virgin/Universal Music Group.
“Ancient Lullaby” is a remix of a song Tarzzy Metta, the lead vocalist of Ancient Dusk, recorded for his third album with CHM Studios in Papua New Guinea. This new version is a tribute to Grandparents. especially to Tarzzy’s mother who sang this lullaby to his son and who is now carrying on the Metta legacy himself with his own son. The song is a beautiful blend of ancient Melanesian chants and melodies, showcasing the band’s unique sound.

Ancient Dusk has been nominated for two prestigious awards by the I.S.S.A: International Band of the Year and International Band Single of the Year for their song “YHWH“, a collaboration with Tim Steinruck of Canadian Hard Rock band, The Mighty One. The band is honoured to be recognized for their contributions to the International music industry.
Ancient Dusk originates from Kimbe Town, West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. The band was formed by Tarzzy Metta and Raymond Waloloki with the aim of “Bringing ancient Melanesian chants and melodies to the World”. With their music, they hope to promote cultural exchange and appreciation.

The Papua New Guinea band is excited to perform at the 50th Anniversary Celebrations for Papua New Guinea, located at Lucas Waka Stadium-Kulungi Village in Kimbe, West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. This event will be a celebration of Papua New Guinea’s rich culture and heritage.
Ancient Dusk plans to tour more and bring their music to a wider audience. They aim to be a catalyst for a cultural renaissance of the cultures of their province and country. The band would like to thank Mark Rosner, CEO of the Canadian Hybrid Label, BigRecords.World located out of the Greater Vancouver Area in Canada, for his support as well as his affiliates.
