Our Business and Promotional Services.

1) BIG RECORDS ARTIST PAGE:

The company will build a fully functional “artist page / electronic press kit” (EPK) for the owner, on our company web site. This is to improve the owners’ search engine optimization (SEO), internet presence and to drive traffic to the owners’ platforms as well as showing the industry and fans that the owner is represented in the industry. The company also has a search 

engine / internet specialist available for consultation.


2) UNIVERSAL / VIRGIN DISTRIBUTION: (optional)

The owner has the choice of music distribution with UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP 

(UMG) / VIRGIN (VMG) or to use their own distribution including Distrokid, Tunecore or others. All communication with UMG/VMG distribution must go through Big Records staff if the owner decides to use our UMG/VMG distribution. The owner understands that UMG reserves the right of

 refusal, but Big Records will advocate on the artists behalf.


3) SOCIAL MEDIA:

The company will provide regular social media consulting, sharing, influencing and support in all aspects of social media. In addition, our social media / influencer team member will be providing connections, instruction, and 

cross-marketing opportunities throughout our social ecosystem. 

During radio, video, or press releases, our team will provide consistent 

organic sharing and marketing for the duration of each release. 

The owner will also be provided with an industry-leading E-book,with 

advice on viral campaigns for all social media platforms. Additional 

help in marketing and viral campaigns will be given to the owner by 

our in-house social media team member. All decisions on branding 

and extra marketing campaigns belong to the owner.


4) RADIO AIRPLAY & PUBLICITY:

The company will provide up to (2) complimentary radio releases, supported 

by select radio networks, DJ’s, podcasts, and magazines. Our partnerships 

in radio are extensive (including reporting stations) and options will be 

discussed for each release, as there are always more radio stations that 

can be added. Release dates are based upon the owner’s timetable. 

More radio releases are available upon request at an added cost to 

the owner. Big Records radio partners are also well-engaged to 

provide social media help and promotion alongside each 

release. (1) complimentary press release will be provided by 

our publicity team at a date to be determined by the owner. 

Additional press releases are available upon request by 

the owner at for an additional cost to the owner.


5) BOOKING AGENTS:

Big Records has multiple booking agents regionally, nationally,

and internationally to book shows, festivals, and tours according to 

the needs of the owner. A 15 - 20% commission is the usual rate that 

the agents will charge for shows that they book for the owner. 

The owner has no obligation to pay commission on shows 

NOT obtained by Big Records or its affiliates.


6) MERCH STORE:

The owner has the option of using their own merch store, or one that 

is created and administrated by Big Records. If the owner wishes to 

use their own merch store, that link can be provided to Big Records to 

help promote it. If the owner wishes to have Big Records create 

and manage a Merch store, the owner still controls all the creative design. 

Help with design graphics and logos etc., may be given to the owner.


7) GRANT WRITER / LETTERS OF INTENT:

The company has access to grant writers for consultation, writing 

grants and letters of intent for travel visas and more. Depending on 

the size and scope of the grant, the owner may want to have the 

grant writer(s) help or even write the grant. In cases dealing 

with larger grants, an added fee may be required.


8) SPONSORSHIP / PUBLICITY & FUND-RAISING:

The company will work with the owner to obtain and reach out to sponsors, charities, endorsements, and funding opportunities. Big Records is 

experienced in attaining both minor and major level sponsorships and partnerships with nonprofits. This is crucial for “next level” funding in the entertainment world. In cases where the company attains funding for 

the owner through sponsors, the company may or may not 

retain a percentage of the funding, to be negotiated at the 

time, but the company will onlyretain a percentage in cases where 

the company attains products, funding or endorsements for the 

owner. In the case of products, the owner will receive any 

products in full, with no obligation to the company. 

The owner and company agree to thank their sponsor(s) through 

social media and when possible, newsletters and press. 

The company has no right or involvement in the owner’s existing 

sponsors that the owner wants to keep separate from the company.


9) TV & FILM PLACEMENTS / SYNC LICENSING:

The company will organically pitch the owners’ music to music 

supervisors for commercials, films, video games, and other forms 

of media. The owner will retain full control and ownership of all their 

music and copyright unless specified in a separate agreement. 

The owner is in no way bound to exclusively use the company 

to attain licensing opportunities as it is a non-exclusive licensing 

and placement agreement. The company only receives 

commission on placement opportunities that it brings 

to the owner. The owner always has the right to refuse or 

accept each opportunity as it comes. Additional 

opportunities for sync placements are available at times 

throughout the agreement including personal representation at 

conferences such as “Midem” in France and “Namm” in L.A.


10) GRAPHICS / VIDEOS:

The company employs a professional graphics team that can take care 

of all the owners’ needs for logos, posters, online graphics, merch design, resizing etc. The owner can use its own graphics OR the 

company graphics team. Small projects such as logos and poster 

graphics are included within this contract, but larger projects may 

include an additional charge depending on the size and scope of 

the design. This is also true for all forms of video creation including CGI.


11) NEWSLETTER:

Big Records has a newsletter / magazine. It has a vast outreach to 

many industry people, international fans and partners and also 

reaches magazines and blogs etc. This will also then be promoted 

throughout our social media ecosystem. This extends to the 

owners’ releases, sponsors, charities, and endorsees.


12) CONSULTATION:

The company creator and head of operations Mark Rosner is

your personal consultant, using his decades of experience and

connections to help further your career in all areas needed. 

Thisincludes direct communication and leads, ideas and 

connections throughout the year agreement. Big Records holds 

as one of its core values that relationships and connections 

are key to an artist’s career. Our team includes 

GRAMMY VOTING MEMBERS,CANADIAN JUNO MEMBERS, 

industry CEO’S and government connections around the world.


13) VOTE.HIVEDMUSIC.COM:

Big Records has a tech partner hivedmusic.com. It has been

created by the former vice-president of ORACLE and is a direct

partner with Big Records. A tech partner with knowledge and

connections to the corporate world is an amazing asset at every

Big Records artist’s fingertips. This platform has many on-going

features that are useful, including a mobile app called FanClub,

which is second to none in direct marketing applications 

and theowner will receive their own channel on this 

platform. Hived isalso a key component in securing 

funding and marketing through corporate partnerships.


14) DISCOUNTS:

The owner will receive exclusive discounts for purchasing goods

and services from various sponsors and small businesses

associated with the company. The company is involved with a

worldwide group of companies ranging from music equipment to

travel, direct order food companies and more.


15) NON-EXCLUSIVITY:

The owner is free to pursue all opportunities and contracts with

third-party companies or individuals. The owner will be

encouraged to consult with the company’s team on any

and all aspects of the entertainment business but is not obligated

to do so. Big Records also believes in forming partnerships with

other record companies, managers, booking agents and more 

if this is in the best interests of the owner and Big Records.


16) RISEUP and MORE: 

The owner will be given priority to be included in the RISEUP 

tours and filming as tours are announced and before they go public. 

RiseUP is a worldwide television show with a growing audience and 

powerful distribution and marketing reach. A separate agreement 

and waiver will be presented and explained in full upon 

interest by the owner. These shows are distributed worldwide 

and pay royalties according to television performing rights 

societies and streaming revenue. The owner will also receive 

“right of first refusal” for opportunities that come to the 

company throughout the year. Other opportunities such as 

“GUITARS-N-STARS,” THE INVICTUS GAMES and NONPROFIT or 

SPONSOR EVENTS are examples of events and television 

closely partnered with Big Records and can provide unique 

opportunities throughout the duration of the Agreement.
