Four men in traditional tribal attire surrounded by lush greenery with 'LAESO Ancient Dusk' text.

Ancient Dusk hails from Papua, New Guinea. A  country with 800 different languages and as many tribes living in the  highlands, valleys and sun-kissed atolls of this pacific island  paradise. Ancient Dusk derives its inspiration from ancient folklore,  the chants and melodies of the Pacific. From  the Bakowi tribal lands of Talasea on the island of New Britain comes  the main proponent of this group, steeped in the island’s tradition and  culture. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, with four albums  under CHM Studios, collaborations and live performances, the ancient  chants

and melodies of his people form the core of his musical output.

In October 2022, Tarzzy teamed up with producer Raymond Waloloki and

musicians Aro Paul Badi and Justin Kila. Raymond was discovered more  than

twenty years ago by veteran PNG sound engineer the late Thomas  Lulungan.

It did not take long for him to be noticed by the country’s  biggest record label CHM Studios and the rest is history. In 2016,  Raymond landed an international project with FIFA, producing the theme  song for the Under 20 Women’s World Cup held in the country’s capital  Port Moresby. Ancient Dusk believes that music, as the universal  language of mankind, has a great role to play in making the world a  better place.
