Craig Jamieson is a singer-songwriter from London, and has been writing and performing music for most of his life. He draws inspiration from a variety of genres, including pop rock, punk, and folk, and is known for his unique voice and electrifying live performances.
My music, although unique, still feels nostalgic and familiar. I always write music with the live show in mind picturing people singing and moving along.
“Come Around” was inspired by Craig’s personal struggles with panic and anxiety. The song is a collaboration with Brad Gray and Steve Turner of Digital Opium, and features a unique blend of pop rock, punk, and 80s influences. Craig hopes that the song will serve as a mantra for those struggling with mental health issues, and provide a sense of comfort and validation.
This London, Ontario artist, who picked up the guitar at the age of 4, is grateful for all the little wins in life and for finding such a creative outlet to be the true expression of himself. Bullied in his teenage years, music became the best outlet for him to grow and learn more about his character.
So far my music career has provided a creative outlet and a cathartic resolution to life’s ups and downs and has given me a sense of accomplishment. It has provided me the opportunity to travel, perform and meet interesting and exceptional people, as well as, made me harder working, more confident and grateful for all the little wins.
