The Mighty One is now deeply connected to the people and culture of Colombia.
The Mighty One has returned from their extremely successful tour to Colombia as direct support to Spanish heavy metal legends OBUS! https://www.obusrock.com/
Their tour took them to the cities of Bogota, Bucaramanga, Medellin, Armenia, Pereria, and Cali. Almost every show was sold out, and the fans went crazy for both bands. The passion of the Colombian people is something the band has never experienced. Every night brought bigger and bigger surprises, and the merch table was always an energetic frenzy after every event, with hundreds of selfies and autograph sessions.

Frontman Tim Steinruck was invited to speak at the University of Quindio in Armenia, delivering his signature talk on natural mental health and suicide prevention. The talk was attended by the entire faculty of the university, who provided translators to overcome the language barrier. Tim and lead guitarist Randy Robertson performed a short acoustic set at the event and were interviewed by the university radio station.

The band is currently planning a return to South America in 2026, featuring an expanded festival tour and additional university appearances, including live performances and sound healing ceremonies to support the well-being of students at various secondary education facilities across the country.
The country of Colombia has embraced The Mighty One in a way that was welcomed but unexpected. Though it has always been the band’s intention to break into the South American market, they are still in shock at the incredible reception.
A big thank you goes out to Colombian drummer Pipe’ Jaramillo and bassist Daniel Kill for stepping in for our Canadian brothers Bob Wagner and Chris Campbell. They were highly affective in making the tour a reality and a total success on many levels. They were instrumental in connecting the band with Cali Music Hall promoter Mauro Moncada and creating the opportunity for Tim to present at the university.

National radio station https://radionica.rocks continues to be an avid supporter, creating awareness of the band, their message, and their music. Thank you to legendary radio personalities Hector Mora and Andres Duran for everything you have done, and continue to do for The Mighty One!
The band is also eyeing the possibility of visiting Ecuador, Brazil, and Argentina in the future.
The Mighty One’s relationship with South America is off to an amazing start.
