LaRhonda Steele dubbed the First Lady of Portland Blues and ‘Shock’ drummer Prevesto deliver some heavy groove funk licks in ‘Come and Get’

Stemming from an Old Soul Funk feel, Portland natives Prevesto and LaRhonda Steele slay some sweet harmonies and entrance the listener into a classic full body motion experience.

Prevesto wrote this song to relay `how one feels about someone inside their mind and heart’.

You know when you are in sync with each other.: – Prevesto, speaking on his motivation for the song.

Prevesto (Shock, Marlon McCain, NuShooz), who recently joined the BigRecords.World camp, brings it with his on point `falsetto`, while Steele (Gino Vannelli, Curtis Salgado, Lloyd Jones, Mary Flower, Norman Sylvester), shares a vocal smooth delicacy. He ‘(w)Raps it up with a homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, in which he is obviously a great fan of the late Legend. “Come and Get My Loving” floats groovingly in the background leaving the listener to easily get caught up in singing this catchy anthem.

He inspires this song from a past relationship where he felt he was on Cloud 9.

I was in a relationship once where I would find myself staring at my girlfriend and feeling like I was floating on a cloud. I was hoping to touch other couples currently living this same profound experience.

‘Come and Get` was released on November 3rd, 2023 through Sony / The Orchard Distribution.
