Duane Parker was born on the Rhien mein air force base in Wiesbaden Germany in 1971. When his father got out of the service at the age of two they moved to the mountains in Virginia. Needless to say that explains the Appalachia in his style. He first sang at the age of five at the Burton fair with his father. He’s sang kowliga and everybody went wild and knew right then that’s what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

He’s opened for lone Wolf Marshall Tucker band David Allan coe Gene Watson t Graham Brown new McCoy had the pleasure of playing rhythm guitar and singing Harmony with Mercury recording star Wesley Dennis he sang with Randy Travis’s band Connie Smith’s band and the Buddy Rose house band of Tootsie’s orchid lounge.

Ambassador Charlie Ray presented him with a platinum songwriting award in May of 2003 in Nashville Tennessee at Smiley Hollow Airplay International, and the King Eagle Awards Foundation nominated him for male vocalist artistic trailblazer and the Golden Pen Awards. He was also a guest of George McCain and John Conlee at the Grand Ole Opry the night his father died. Duane has been a guest on morning shows such as Good morning with Bear O’Brien on wsig Mount Jackson Virginia and the list goes on. His fans go from Liverpool, England, Canada to Florida, Washington State, to Maine and has fans of all creed color and genre. He is labeled himself as outlaw country because he sticks to his roots.
