Linda Marks` Title song “A Recipe For Hope“

The Fallout Shelter, a very unique and delightful venue, offers carefully curated all-ages live shows, which are broadcast on YouTube.

I am really happy to be playing in the Listen Local series, joined by three uber-talented and accomplished musician friends and colleagues, each of whom has a decorated career.

The quartet will be playing songs from Marks` 2023 Everyday Legends album and her 2024 album, A Recipe For Hope featuring some new singles.

Marks is also planning a very special event on June 23rd at the Burren in Somerville for both her A Recipe For Hope album release and the premiere of her global recording “Sanctuary”; a song inspired by, and including words of domestic violence survivors. The song was written for a November 5th benefit concert for Casa Myrna and Respond in 2023, which are two organizations that help domestic violence survivors and their children.

A special recording will premiere featuring fellow Recording Academy colleagues from the US, Greece and Israel, and is being produced by multi-Grammy winning sound engineer Lonny Park with Nate Horton.

There is no holding Marks back as she continues to engage with her weekly Songs From The Heart, Meditations For The Heart listeners that she launched online back in March 2020. This Covid endeavour that holds global visibility, has encouraged her to already prepare her next album which will mark her 15th contribution to her deep album catalogue titled The Silence Of The Stars, set to launch on New Years Day 2025. Marks’ purpose is to touch the heart and soul of her audience and to bring them hope and light.

I want my music to touch people’s hearts, give them hope, uplift them and bring healing and possibility to their lives and our world. Music can build a bridge across all that divides.

This is an all-ages show. ADA compliant with wheelchair accessibility.

Doors open at 6PM (The venue recommends attendees to arrive at that time as seating is General Admission. Each show comes with a free commemorative event poster. FREE PARKING!)
