BrandiWyne blends Rock, Pop, R&B, and Blues, creating a unique sound inspired by diverse backgrounds and personal stories. Their new single “Dancing with the Devil” explores the complexities of forbidden love with a vibrant mix of musical influences and theatrical flair.
BrandiWyne creates a dynamic hybrid of Rock, Pop, R&B, and Blues. The band currently consists of five members with varied musical backgrounds. Members include Brandi Huang on vocals, Tom Raschko on lead guitar, Michael Franzi on bass, David Demetrio on rhythm guitar, and Justin Cassaday on drums.
While the musicians sometimes change, the lead singer, Brandi Huang, remains constant. Sometimes described as a fusion of Evanescence & Pink, they fuse a combination of Alternative Rock, Pop, and Motown harmonies to bring a unique sound. There are rhythmic collisions whereby a meeting of beats and time signatures from various genres, clashing and combining in ways that ultimately feel both jarring and liberating. Each pulse and percussive hit add layers of complexity for a deep soul connection.
BrandiWyne practices the art of storytelling in their music and will often dress in various Cosplay characters on stage in performances. This fun and unique element adds a feel of “Whimsey” to every show.
Brandi shared, “the sound delivered in “Dancing with the Devil” was inspired by our latest rhythm guitarist, David Demetrio, originally from Brazil. He would sometimes bring a Latin sound to practice. We decided it would be fun to use this sound in one of our songs.” The song’s lyrics are inspired by some of Brandi’s favorite Crunchy roll Anime such as “Forest of Fairy Lights”, “Seven Deadly Sins” and “Fruits Baskets”.

Brandi is a survivor of domestic violence and abuse as a child, many of BrandyWyne’s songs, including this new single, are a story of her life and the healing process experienced.
The motivation and intention behind “Dancing with the Devil” is how the song delves into the intricate emotions that surface when drawn to someone who is both irresistible and detrimental. With a theatrical flair, the track serves as a chameleon-like anthem, seamlessly shifting while maintaining two distinct yet complementary moods. Brandi shared, “In ‘Dancing with the Devil,’ I wanted to create a soundscape that mirrors the thrilling yet treacherous dance of forbidden romance. It’s a homage to the stories that resonate with us all, especially those found in my favorite anime.” It fuses the raw intensity of rock with the sultry rhythms of Latin music, creating a powerful soundscape that captures the bittersweet tension of falling for someone who embodies both allure and danger.
“I wrote it to share the struggles one sometimes faces when you can’t control who you fall in love with, and it ends up being someone you know is wrong for you. While it can’t change or help this situation, sometimes feeling understood can help emotionally at the very least.” Brandi
BrandiWyne has their music on radio stations, now available on AMI jukeboxes that are located in local bars and restaurants; and they continue to perform nationally (and in Canada) with plans to travel and play for their fans in the UK in the near future. They want their music to always help heal hearts and bring joy to their audiences.
Music has magnified who Brandi is, not just as a musician but as a person, and who they are as a band. It has not really changed them, happily, they are still a bunch of lighthearted, silly people who just love playing music!
