Award winning acoustic -pop duo LooPS consist of both lead vocalist Kevin Roy and instrumentalist/vocalist Jon Fennell, and the record breaking act are currently establishing themselves as not only the top acoustic-pop duo in British Columbia, but in all of Canada.
Best described as what would happen if Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi had a musical baby, they fuse loop pedal energy with soaring piano ballads and strong harmonies throughout.
In their 6 years together, LooPS have played countless big stages, festivals and events as both a full time gigging act across BC, but also opening for the likes of international recording artist Forest Blakk in October 2024 for the Vancouver stop of his North America Tour, and previously playing both The Memorial Cup and Scotties Tournament of Hearts entertainment main stages. With the continual growing success of their original releases, including their most recent and most commercial track to date, “Last Goodbye”, and an aggressive touring schedule, LooPS were voted Best Band/Singer for both 2022 and 2023 in the Kamloops This Week Readers Choice Awards (over 100k votes cast). Those wins, in addition to numerous other accolades before and since, has helped establish LooPS as the next big act to come out of the interior of BC.
2023 WORLD RECORD BCCHF FUNDRAISER…
As their most personal (but also most renowned) achievement to date, On July 8th, 2023, LooPS successfully attempted the Guinness World Record for The Most Concerts Played in 12 hrs (multi cities). With 23 minutes to spare they completed their 9th concert over 9 cities to break the existing record of 8! They did the attempt specifically to raise money for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and are extremely proud to say that their fundraising campaign raised an incredible $18,402!!!
