BigRecords.World’s newly signed Singer-Songwriter, Howard Gripp, is set to release his new faith-forward rock single, “Strong” distributed by Syntax Creative — a message for anyone walking through hard seasons and choosing to stand firm in God.
Howard Gripp’s new single “Strong” holds gritty guitar riffs with worship-sized hooks and an anthemic chorus which carry a simple call: when everything feels torn, don’t give up — lean in, speak up, let God know.
“When everything feels torn, don’t give up — lean in, speak up, let God know.” – Howard Gripp
This “powerful and uplifting anthem” projects “resilience and faith”, celebrating the unshakable strength found in God. For Gripp, his lyrics reflect “the struggles, doubts, and storms of life, emphasizing the steadfastness that comes from trusting in Thy Highest Power; God.”
These lyrics are inspired from real stories from a life redeemed and delivered with the courage to “invite people back to God right now”. “Life is about redemption and second chances”, says Gripp.
Gripp, who says that he has wavered in life, has also been blessed greatly by this motto. After many years performing in the secular music world and being led off course, “Jesus changed everything”. This seasoned Singer-Songwriter took a leap of faith and instead of “handing over the mic”, decided to use his voice, writing skills and industry experience in God’s favor; it was life-changing.
Based in Wisconsin, Gripp writes what he’s lived and his current purpose in music: “straight-talk faith anthems with rock grit and worship-sized choruses. Songs like “Hello It’s Me,” “Fearless,” “Father Help Me,” “He Rescued Me,” “Love Rewrote My Story,” “You Still Hear,” and “Strong” carry a simple invitation—when life unravels, don’t run; let God know.
…when life unravels, don’t run; let God know.
Gripp has been building momentum on festival stages and in churches, performing solo and with a full band, tailoring each night as a journey from struggle to surrender to hope.
Howard’s message is the same on stage and off: “it’s never too late to bring God the mess and watch Him make something new. If you need proof, listen to his songs — or meet the man singing them.” Gripp calls this an “Honest Approach”. #honestapproach #honestapproachisconnecting
That honest approach has landed him the 2025 Rampage Music Awards for Best Christian Album (Rescued Redeemed Forgiven) and Best Christian Song (“He Rescued Me – Acoustic”). Gripp was named a WAMI finalist, and earned five Josie Music Awards nominations.
Gripp’s unwavering faith is now a lasting one. His creations are in part with God as he continues to “stand firm and draw strength from his faith”. In return that is his hope for his listeners while connecting with “Strong”. Gripp’s lyrics draw vivid imagery bringing you closer to God. Through this, Gripp suggests utilizing these visuals as a shield through God’s armor and His grace as a firm foundation when living through struggle and remembering His generous abundance.
Through vivid imagery of God’s armor as a shield and His grace as a firm foundation, the song encourages listeners to stand firm and draw strength from their faith.
Gripp wants his listeners to be reminded of the constant presence and sustaining Love of God. This unconditional Love will heal even the most brokenhearted through His immense Strength, and teachings of Compassion and Mercy. He gives us great “opportunities” to live through misericorde and grow into better versions of thyself.
The heartfelt bridge highlights God’s ability to mend brokenness and turn weakness into strength, making this track a profound reminder of His constant presence and sustaining love.

Howard Gripp, a 2025 Rampage Music Awards winner and Josie Music Awards nominee, wrote the song to “encourage his listeners that are facing real-life battles to anchor their hope, not their fear.”
This song is about the moment you decide, ‘I’m not quitting. I’m trusting God—right now.
Gripp wrote “Strong” during a time when life made him feel torn and broken and he felt that through his own suffering, he “had nothing but God to lean on”. He feels that no matter the struggle or how personal “your moment” may be, you are never alone and surrendering this “moment” could be your open door to receiving God into your life, leading to better reflections and decisions.
It’s a prayer for people who feel at the end of themselves—when the diagnosis hits, the marriage breaks, the bills stack up, or the silence feels heavy. The hook “let God know” is an invitation to talk to Him honestly, right where you are, and to stand firm in His strength when yours is gone.
Gripp states that his “intention is that this song gives listeners simple, singable language to reach for Jesus, take the next step of faith, and find courage to keep going.” He hopes to bring comfort to all that are struggling in their “moment” and to give them an opportunity to voice their anguish through prayer and open circles. How did God butt into your life? Did you also hear Him during a time when your life was a mess?
Gripp feels that God has given him a lofty mission of communicating HOPE. He communicates that His words through his songs of prayer will be well received while performing on stage, on the radio, and online. He insists that God’s message is that we stand firm more than ever now in our faith. This is the lifeline to your trinity hard drive; heart, soul and mind. Your new restoration plan. Gripp believes that everyone can change for the better version of themselves should they choose to.
These songs and my mission will help renew weary believers, rebuild trust in God, and spark fresh obedience.
He would like to create a Community & Response team that creates a space at his shows/services for prayer, testimony, and learning about your next steps.

What is next for Howard Gripp? During the next year, Gripp plans to confirm more than 50 dates playing solo or with his band and is hopeful to land dates where he can headline with a full band, support and open for other reputable CCM/rock artists, or perform at major festivals, churches/ministries, testimonial dinners and outreach programs. There will be lyric and live videos coming up with every new single leading up to the EP/album. He would also like to explore other international markets.
Gripp states that he has “watched God miraculously use these songs to change lives — people have shared testimonies of renewed hope, have reconciled relationships, and now live a fresh faith”. For Gripp, that’s the “greatest win”. Not only seeing how others’ renewed faith brings them joy and abundance in their lives but it has done the same personally to Gripp, who through his writing and touring, has been transformed. He now sees life a lot differently and strives to be more compassionate, patient and live with humility.
His relationship with God is more of a partnership and he is more bold about the Gospel. He lives in pure servitude.
