Dan Wesley White’s new Country love song, Love Is A Four Letter Word, causes even the most obstinate cowboy to fall in love

How do cowboys tell their admirations that they love them in Texas anyway? In this song that features the musical skills of Sheri Ann Swartz, a cowboy meets the girl of his dreams where he eventually submits to the cupid bow that pierces his heart, passing all his greatest fears, where he succumbs to tell her “I Love You”.

Wesley White who was looking for his next big release, particularly a “love song” came across a repertoire piece that his friend and fellow songwriter Sheri Ann Swartz had on the backburner from the late 90’s. The pair revised the lyrics and here it is “All spiced up and well done!”

Dan Wesley White intends on adding one more song to his own repertoire before launching an album. He appreciates his listeners and their feedback. It “fuels his fire”. His intention is always to make his listeners relate to his lyrics. He wants them to feel their genuine emotions in relation to their own life situations. To connect with his songs.

I want to make the listener relate to my lyrics and feel happy and sad for a connection in their own life.

Dan Wesley White, singer-songwriter from Del Rio, TX, is grateful to BigRecords.World, his hybrid record label out of the Greater Vancouver Region of British Columbia in Canada, for their support and guidance, and has a longstanding musical background in military and band orchestration. His years as a US Army veteran gave him a new positive perspective on life as he uses his music as an outlet to calm the journey as to where this part of his career led him. After leaving the military, he returned to school to get a teaching degree and now teaches music in South Texas. His music blends a hint of Country with Tex-Mex, Texas Swing, and rock influences. Wesley White is an advocate for veteran suicide awareness and wrote the song “22” to make the subject more mainstream to help vets and their families.

His co-writer Sheri Swartz ~Affectionally called ‘Songbird,’ Sheri Swartz, is an SMMA and Josie Awards nominated Texas born and raised Christian, Country, Rockabilly, & Pop songwriter. Her professional journey began in Nashville in the 90’s, where she enjoyed many facets of the music industry. After a 20 year hiatus, in 2023-2024 she made a miracle comeback in her home state of Texas. She has written songs with and for the legendary Bernie Nelson, Texas rockabilly emerging artist John Michael & The Retro Cats, up and coming stars, Tasman Sharp, Dylan Rhys, Elle Townley, Chloee Rae, Alli Mattice, Jenna Katherine, and chart topper, Matt Tejeda and the Backwoods Band to name a few. In 2025, she teamed up with Dan Wesley White with their co-writing credits quickly adding up. Her passion to help others in the music industry was evident. This past August, Swartz hosted The Songbird Music Business Conference held in New Braunfels, TX to help other songwriters, artists and musicians, as well as industry professionals connect, learn and grow their music career.
