
Rachel Dara is a Canadian‑born, Canada/USA dual‑citizen singer‑songwriter based in Montreal, Quebec. A compelling chanteuse, storyteller, poetess,
and modern bard, she creates work rooted in folk‑alternative while
drawing freely from literary and theatrical traditions. Her songwriting is
defined by narrative depth, emotional nuance, and a rare ability to
translate lived experience into vivid, cinematic songs.

such as the New York State Fair, Wally Lake Fest, and Brew York.
Rachel is preparing to release her upcoming EP, Old at Soul and Young at
Heart, recorded on 2‑inch tape and produced by Josh Goldman, known for his musical direction on Juno Award winner Kairo McLean’s Easy Now.
Her next single, “In the Darkness,” is scheduled for release on March 6, 2026.
